The work

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to school curricula, with modification during the year as needed

• Incorporate technology and research-based practices into daily teaching
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth; supervise students in various school settings and participate in non-instructional activities as assigned

Requirements

• Active and current Ohio teaching licence in the appropriate content area
• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• High comfort level with growth-focused coaching based on frequent observations, debriefs and progress monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage confidential information
• Experience working in an urban environment

Pay and benefits

• Salary of $41,000–50,500 per year; starting pay varies based on geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications
